Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment provides GTA high school students the unique opportunity to take community college classes while still in high school. Also known as concurrent enrollment, dual enrollment enables Griffin and MIT high schoolers to take college courses, taught by college professors, either at their high school campus or at a nearby community college. These courses count towards Griffin Academy and MIT Academy’s diploma requirements, allowing students to get a head start on their higher education goals.

Athletics

At GTA we instill our student-athlete with the integrity to be responsible in service to their classmates and to be resilient when encountering adversity. It is the goal of our Athletic Departments to teach our middle schoolers the fundamentals of our philosophy, and how to compete while trying to put our teams in a position to win games. Once these student-athletes advance to the high school level with these values instilled, they go into game preparation in an effort to compete in the Bay Area Charter School Athletic Conference.
